Valutec to exhibit at the Internationale Holzmesse Klagenfurt
Valutec will participate at the Internationale Holzmesse Klagenfurt, September 1-4.
At the fair Valutec will showcase the next generation of continuous kilns, – the TC Continuous Kiln.
Valutec's TC continuous kilns combine high capacity and flexibility with optimal quality.
The TC provides full freedom to create the ultimate drying process with the virtually unlimited freedom to mix dimensions, minimal moisture content variation and reduced risk of checking. Annual capacity can reach 170,000 m3, with target moisture contents down to around 12–18%.
There are already many TC kilns in full production in the Nordic countries. The word has spread quickly, and construction of the first kiln of this type in Central Europe is underway as Austrian wood products manufacturer Egger will build a TC-kiln with a capacity of 80,000 m3 side boards per year.
”For us, Valutec is a supplier of wood drying technology rather than a supplier of machines,” said
Paul Lingemann, CEO at Egger Brilon’s sawmill in a comment regarding the business deal.
The most famous TC kiln Valutec has built to date is a unit for SCA Bollsta in Sweden. Drawing attention from all over Europe, it has been dubbed in Germany as ”Das Swedische Monster”. The capacity of the ten-zone kiln exceeds 100 000 cubic metres per year for side boards.
At the fair Valutec will also demo its adaptive control system “Valmatics” that comes with a unique intergrated simulator.
