Let's meet. We'll bring the coffee!
It's almost a year since we at Valutec launched our North American subsidiary Valutec Wood Dryers Inc, in Vancouver, British Columbia. During that time, we’ve made sure to learn more about the specific challenges that sawmills in North America face when it comes to everything related with the wood drying process.
That is the way we operate every time we step into a new market. In order to provide the best solutions for you, we humbly listen to your needs and your primary concerns related to wood drying. That’s one reason why it was great meeting the industry at the TP&EE fair in Portland, Oregon last month.
We take pride in providing wood drying solutions based on thorough Scandinavian research. But also in being a trailblazer for development in our field. We’re currently involved in more than ten research projects together with research institutions and partners from the industry. These are related primarily to further enhancing our offer of continuous kilns, automation and control systems.
Next week, we’ll be at the Intersaw and Optisaw in Montreal. I hope we meet there, and I'd also love to visit your sawmill and learn more about the challenges you’re facing with regards to wood drying. I'll make sure to bring some coffee and the cinnamon buns I've grown to love on my many visits to my colleagues in Sweden and Finland.
