The Siljan sawmills at Blyberg and Siljan are investing in Valutec’s batch kilns and control system. A total of ten forklift-fed batch kilns and 29 control systems are to be purchased.

The first quarter is already at an end and here at Valutec we are seeing increasing interest in investing among sawmills. This includes the Siljan Group, who you can read more about in this newsletter. Quite clearly, there is a great need for both batch kilns and continuous kilns. I believe and feel that it is a positive trend that we are seeing drying parks that may look hugely different from one another – they are, and should be, adapted to the production process at the individual sawmill.

It's that time of the year when the fairs and conferences are lining up.
